About the Club

Cronulla Swim Club meets on Friday nights during the summer season at Caringbah Leisure Centre which is located at 9 Jacaranda Road Caringbah.

Club nights start at 6:45pm and include freestyle, a formstroke (which alternates each week) and either medley or mid-distance freestyle races. Handicap relays are also held at various times during the season. The details of club nights can be viewed either through the calendar or the 2011 season programme which are currently being updated.

Distances include 20m, 30m, 50m and 100m for the freestyle and formstroke events. The shorter distances give our budding swimmers a chance to compete and build their confidence while the older swimmers can stretch themselves against their club mates and the clock. As a swimmer's time improves, they are elevated to the next distance.

New swimmers at any level are always welcome and anyone interested can come for a trial swim with no obligation.
